It has been widely assumed that Israel has been delaying its
full-scale genocidal assault on Gaza until after the succession
of prominent Western supporters of occupation, apartheid and
genocide have made their pilgrimages to Israel, physically
embraced Netanyahu, renewed their pledges of allegiance to
Israel and left.
Rishi Sunak left late yesterday. As reported in the LE MONDE
article at the link transmitted below, Emmanuel Macron appears
to have indefinitely delayed his own pilgrimage.

Accordingly, the road is now open. It appears highly likely that
Israel will continue to haggle over the precise modalities for
the highly publicized but purely symbolic possible entry into
Gaza of 20 "humanitarian aid" trucks (less than one truck per
100,000 Gazans!) until, before another prominent Western
supporter can arrive, it unleashes its full-scale genocidal
assault, which will render any silly thoughts of
Israeli-approved "humanitarian aid" moot.
NOTE: While the world's attention is understandably
focused on the horrors being inflicted upon the Palestinians of
Gaza, the horrors being inflicted upon the Palestinians of the
West Bank should not be ignored. Since October 7 and as of this
morning, 81 West Bankers had been killed by Israeli occupation
forces and settlers and more than 850 others had been rounded up
as hostages.
